“I started my career at Arbor Acres in 2023 in Home Care. I moved to Security in 2024, and am now serving in transportation starting in 2025. I found Arbor Acres after researching in the area opportunities and was impressed with the values of Arbor Acres, I decided I definitely wanted to be here and applied for my first job in Home Care. I felt a strong desire to be a part of this community.
Something positive that has happened to me in 2025 was the move to the Transportation department. This has been the best decision I have made since I have been here at Arbor Acres. I love the small team environment, communication, and organization to get our residents safely to and from their appointments. I love to hear the residents’ stories while I’m with them.
The ARTIST value that resonates with me the most is service. The most important thing we do here at Arbor Acres is serve our residents.
While working with Home Care, the family I was caring for gave me a Christmas card with the whole family signing a personalized message that I will treasure forever. Being able to care for the residents and help support the family brings joy to my life.”
Tia helps ensure that our residents get to and from medical appointments in a safe and timely manner. She truly brings so much value to Arbor Acres each and every day! We are grateful to her for sharing her story!
