Artist Spotlight, August 2026: Diamond Maldonado, Maintenance Coordinator

Put your hands together for our Artist Spotlight of this month... Diamond Maldonado, who coordinates our Maintenance office!

"I began my career at Arbor Acres in 2017 as a housekeeper in Arborview. I was looking for more than just a job; I wanted to be part of a community where I could grow. Since then, I've had the opportunity to hold four different positions, each one helping me learn and develop new skills. Those experiences have led me to my current role as Maintenance Coordinator, where I continue to grow and enjoy making a positive impact every day.

This year, I'm looking forward to continuing to grow in my role and finding new ways to support my team and our residents. Outside of work, I’m excited to continue watching my kids grow, both academically and as part of their football and flag football teams. I also look forward to spending more time with my family, especially cooking together and enjoying the little moments that create lasting memories.

Our STEWARD value, 'Diligence,' resonates with me the most because I believe hard work, consistency, and attention to detail are the foundation of success. I take pride in doing my job well, staying dependable, and making sure tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently.

One of my favorite memories at Arbor Acres has been getting to know both the residents and my coworkers. It's rewarding to see how even small acts, whether it's completing a repair quickly or simply taking a moment to talk with a resident, can brighten someone's day. Being part of a team that works together to solve problems and support one another has made my experience here enjoyable. Those everyday interactions remind me that our work is about more than maintenance. It's about helping create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming place for everyone who calls Arbor Acres home."
