The Art ofGiving

At Arbor Acres, giving helps create a culture of philanthropy and nurture a spirit of generosity that expresses love, community, and legacy. Guided by our mission to create communities that celebrate The Art of Living, generous donors have supported Arbor Acres and the residents who call it home since our founding in 1980.

At the heart of this generosity is the Resident Assistance Fund—the cornerstone of our mission to ensure that no resident ever has to leave Arbor Acres due to financial hardship. Through your gifts, we provide confidential support to residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources—honoring their history and potential, and ensuring they continue to have a seat at the table and a place in this community.

Other ImpactAreas

Arbor Acres uplifts the Artists (employees) who serve this community with remarkable skill, dedication, and heart. Through gifts to PALETTE (Promoting Artist Leadership, Empowerment, Training, Thriving, and Excellence) we invest in our employee Artists’ growth, continuing education, professional certifications, leadership training, and merit-based recognition. PALETTE helps us recruit and retain compassionate, skilled individuals who see their work as a calling.

Generosity also enhances the spaces we share and the well-being we cherish—because life is better together. Through community enhancement projects, philanthropic support brings beauty, connection, and joy to daily life at Arbor Acres, from revitalized gardens and community art installations to program expansions and specialized equipment for wellness and enrichment. As faithful stewards of our legacy and creators of our future, we invest each gift thoughtfully to ensure that everyone who lives and works here can truly thrive.

We are here to serve and invite you to join us in this important work!

A Personal NoteFrom Angela Pittman

"After five of the most meaningful years of my life, I celebrate the memories I share with my sweet mom, Kathryn, and my extended family – residents and staff. I enjoy serving on the Resident Council and Croquet Committee, sharing my travels and photos, playing croquet, loving Sharps and Flats’ concerts and appreciating our many events and opportunities.…Because I live in this extraordinary community, I desire to give back…Thank you, Arbor Acres, for enriching my life by offering me art, beauty, entertainment, education, and security."
