Get to know our talented Artist Spotlight for July: Tiara!
“After having a couple of managerial positions in fast food, I decided to explore what it would be like to work in a different atmosphere. I was hired in November 2013, and as it turns out, Arbor Acres was just what I needed. I feel like a part of a team, I’m always learning new things, and I was able to grow in my position, which has led me to where I am today. The residents were the icing on top. All the life stories and advice the residents share are more than I could ask for.
“One positive thing that happened to me this year is just being seen. The Artist Spotlight is something I look forward to reading each month. I enjoy getting to know someone’s story, which I may not know even if I see that person walk the halls all the time. To be the person that everyone will read about is beyond me. I am very grateful and look forward to many more days of being seen and heard.
“This year, I was able to attend my very first food show: The Cheney Brothers Food Show in Myrtle Beach. It was definitely a trip to remember. I got to see how Arbor Acres chooses food vendors, as well as the new and exciting products that Cheney Brothers has to offer.
“Out of all the ARTIST values, ‘service’ is what resonates most with me. Everything I do every day is to make life easier for the next person. I take pride in what I do, and I do everything to the best of my ability.”
