Shonette Pettiford

My passion for older adults was ignited at the age of 12, when I had the privilege of caring for my World War II veteran grandfather who was facing many health challenges. The memories of that time spent with him are some of my most cherished. This early passion has guided me on a 25-year journey in the healthcare industry, where the joy and fulfillment of caring for older adults is beyond words.

Working at Arbor Acres has only deepened this sense of purpose and community. The residents and staff here contribute to my joy every day, and I am grateful for the chance to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate team. Together, we strive to provide the highest level of care and support to our residents, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and valued.

As a servant leader, I am committed to continuous growth and learning in my role, with the goal of making a lasting impact on all those who call Arbor Acres home. I am excited for the opportunities ahead to further serve and support our seniors, and I am thankful for the chance to be part of their lives.
