Arbor Acres’ Receives $300,000 Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation Grant

(Winston-Salem, NC) – Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community has received a $300,000 grant from the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation, Inc. located in Atlanta, Georgia. The Foundation supports six organizations in North Carolina, of which Arbor Acres is one, that benefit elderly Christian women who require assistance for food, housing and critical care. Arbor Acres uses money received from the Foundation to provide need-based financial assistance to residents who meet the grant’s qualifications.
