Francis Asbury Neighborhood Expansion Set to Begin

Work is moving forward on the expansion of the Francis Asbury neighborhood. This next phase will include seven new homes and three patio homes, all thoughtfully designed to complement the character and charm of the existing neighborhood and our campus.

With initial surveying now complete, site preparation activities will begin the week of May 18 at the end of Francis Asbury Drive. Contractors will be installing fencing and erosion control measures, along with grading and stormwater management work. Preparations will also get underway to expand parking areas behind Strickland Place (Skilled Nursing) and Arborview (Memory Care).

Home construction is expected to begin shortly after site preparation is completed, which is currently anticipated within the next few weeks.

In addition, once work begins in the Francis Asbury neighborhood, upcoming renovations to the Welcome Center and entrance lanes will require the temporary closure of the main entrance. During this time, all traffic will be redirected to the resident entrance further down Arbor Road.

This project represents an exciting step toward fulfilling the original vision for the Francis Asbury neighborhood while continuing to strengthen the overall Arbor Acres community for years to come.
